Role Summary & Role Description

This role would provide leadership to overall Global Billing E2E processes, strategic process improvement, and management of both global “Run the bank” and “Change the bank” technology teams. It is a multi-year, multi release program of work, with extensive transformation across both our technology and operations functions of the organization and requires an understanding of the complexity of balancing and prioritizing of client, compliance, regulatory requirements with BAU priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership of the Global Billing teams that support end to end processing for Billing using; Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB), Oracle Analytical Solution (OAS), Client Setup Application (CSA), Datahub (DMH), and Billing Express.
  • Ability to work cross-enterprise to define and prioritize delivery enablers that drive targeted business outcomes and ensure focus on these outcomes is maintained through program delivery
  • Manage and provide leadership of the “Business as Usual” operational support team that includes technical support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution to ensure platform stability
    • Partner with Application Resiliency Organization (ARO) team whose team provides L1/L2 support for the billing applications
    • Ensure the BAU structure, processes and team dynamics keep pace with the bank and industry standards
  • Manage and provide leadership of the “Change the bank” transformation team
    • Provide strategic thinking & solutioning for business driven demands
    • Work across the GTS leadership, to ensure we are able to articulate and deliver technology strategy which meets the demands and requirements of the businesses we serve
    • Ensure project deliverables meet the expected business outcomes whilst managing appropriate delivery risk profiles ensuring timely delivery and within agreed budget

Core/Must have skills

  • The candidate will have 10 + years of leadership experience in the financial or technical domain. Understanding of client billing lifecycle process and technology.
  • Exceptional communication skills and relationship management capabilities, able to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and across Operations and Technology
  • Ability to manage challenging stakeholders, delivery of difficult messages and pro-actively managing effective communication
  • Extensive, in-depth relevant experience in program management, including experience of leading multi-year, cross-functional and enterprise-wide program specifically in global billing technology functions
  • Strong project planning skills and expertise in large, complex program management, across multiple work-streams; releases and complex data migrations, whilst using industry standard methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience of leadership roles in the production environments within a fast pace, daily deliverable financial organization.
  • Experience implementing Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior IT software \ engineering \ finance specialists

Salary Range:

$135,000 - $210,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
