We are seeking someone highly organized with proven ability to contribute to and drive strategic projects and execute critical business priorities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about success and who has excellent partnership and collaboration skills. This person will have a strong attention to detail and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
This role will be located at CRD headquarters in Burlington, MA, but other locations may be considered.
The VP of Operations will be part of the Office of the COO but will work cross functionally to ensure identified projects, transformation opportunities and optimizations are managed through all aspects of their lifecycle.

CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created the first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019. This role will play an important part in our continued commitment to providing world-class service.
What you will be responsible for
The VP of Operations will work cross functionally on one or many strategic initiatives and assist in establishing project reporting standards, templates, and reporting processes and policies.
As MD of Operations, you will:
· Plan, manage, and execute strategic initiatives of varying size and complexity,
· Manage and deliver results for the organization, including:
o Analysis of business areas and functions identified for optimization and,
o Effectively drive transformation and optimization initiatives, such as; contractor, resource and geography optimization.
· Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed,
· Leverage problem solving skills to ensure the highest quality execution,
· Build relationships with critical stakeholders to ensure delivery,
· Identify ways to improve and streamline other business operations as and when identified.
· Provide regular reporting/dashboard updates and present to the Charles River Executive Committee
· Support communications needs throughout the organization.
The person will have:

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
• Four (4) year degree is required. A major such as Finance, Economics, Information Systems or Computer Science is desirable but not mandatory.
• 10+ years’ experience in related field
• Strong initiative and confidence to lead meetings and drive participation
• Strong presence and ability to influence both people and strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into findings driving process and procedure
• Passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems effectively and consistently
• Ability to negotiate priorities across organizations at all levels with competing priorities
• Results-driven self-starter with the ability to multitask. Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment with a “can do” attitude and growth mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to manage competing demands and frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to convey plans, issues and risks concisely and coherently.
• Highly efficient and well-organized with strong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
Salary Range:
$135,000 - $210,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
