Job Description:

Provides broad range of operational service / support which may include environment management, maintenance, monitoring, performance and incident management and/or production support activities to enable technology for own area of specialization.

Looking for an experienced Data Platform CI/CD DevOps Engineer with excellent understanding of Large-Scale Big Data Platform (CDH Stack, + Cloud AZURE DATABRICKS). This is niche tech opportunity in a fast-paced cutting-edge Tech and Big Data CI/CD DevOps and Engineering space, you will be responsible for Change Management and Change Implementation on Enterprise Data platform (Azure Cloud) for one of The Largest Data Lake across all the Industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement / Deploy high volumes and high velocity of complex code, data objects, infra objects, configuration objects into Pre and Production environments.
  • Own and deliver on Enterprise Change Management policy cadence - review of change records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run and Chair Change Approval Meetings - to ensure impact and supportability of the Change.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise tools - XL Release, Azure Products, ServiceNow, MS Office Suite of Products to be able to continuously measure and improve the current state.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks by coordinating with stakeholders and able to effectively complete the assigned allocation of tasks. (Critical to role).
  • Handling changing priorities and demonstrating flexibility in critical situations
  • Collaborating with Enterprise ITSM processes (Change Management and Release Management) to ensure smooth operation of data platform.
  • Continuously improving, innovating, simplifying, and measuring the platform to identify efficiency opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Data/source Ingestions and extractions from various sources using Hadoop Cloudera stack and Azure Data Factory
  • Deploying and managing Deployment Tools (XL Release - Digital AI, CI/CD DevOps Pipelines) for continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Ensuring discipline and thoroughness in Release and Change Management/Implementation practices for business-critical, regulatory, and large shared service platform
  • Excellent understanding of Large-Scale Big Data Platform, including CLOUD AZURE DATABRICKS
  • Understanding of Azure SQL/SSMS, Windows, and Linux basic understanding (IO and FS)
  • Ability to handle changing priority and flexibility in critical situations.
  • Mindset to continuously improve, innovate, simplify and measure to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computers/Data/Software Domain.
  • 2-3 Years of experience with Data Initiative and solid understanding of end-to-end Data lifecycle.
