Toast is looking for a seasoned Lead Business Operations Analyst to play an integral role in scaling Toast’s rapidly growing Mid-Market and Enterprise business. You will join a dynamic Business Operations team that is the “go-to” team for Sales, to support the negotiation of Master Service Agreements. In addition, this role will execute current processes and the build out of new processes to close and onboard new business efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with various departments, including Sales, Billing, Financing, Legal and Payments. This person will work closely with senior leadership across those functions, and drive them to alignment in order to execute deals quickly and in a fiscally responsible manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Business operations point of contact in the Master Services agreement negotiation infrastructure and work cross-functionally with the Sales, Legal, Finance, R&D, Accounting and other operational teams.
  • Participate in Master Service Agreements draft review and post signature activities including dataloading, quality assurance, administrative updates, and customer account creation
  • Become an expert in internal processes and provide high quality operational support to both the Business Operations team and our internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, double-check the accuracy of information and inputs in order to minimize errors
  • Maintain and develop basic reports and dashboards in Salesforce, Looker, Excel etc.
  • Serves as a main point of contact for audits and maintains regular quality assurance activities
  • Has a lead role on internal and cross-functional enablement
  • Supports the maintenance of the department content library/resources and leads both new hire and internal stakeholder training
  • Continually identify opportunities to improve productivity for our team and our stakeholders, leads such initiatives and determines effectiveness of new processes and changes


We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, intellectually curious candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly.

  • BS/BA or 3-7 years of relevant experience in commercial contract negotiation for a SaaS B2B organization or something similar
  • Extreme attention to detail and meticulous organization
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders throughout various levels of management and to influence others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence prioritizing and making time sensitive decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and strong sense of urgency
  • Relentless problem-solver
  • Prior experience with a CRM tool is required
  • Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Prior experience with Ironclad or other CMS tools is a plus
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Project Management experience and certification is a plus
  • Process improvement experience and certification is a plus

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

$65,000$104,000 USD
