The Role
Equity Trading Technology is looking for a senior systems analyst to join the EQ Trading Systematic Trading tools team. As a member of our team, you will analyze both current and new business and technical processes, identify system interfaces and dependencies, and document process and system flows. Your role will involve translating business functions into clear technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with various teams across business and technology teams. Your insights will help assess systems, identify dependencies, and sequence work effectively. Our product area serves a critical business function, giving you the chance to truly make a difference.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and over four years of professional experience
- Solid understanding of financial industry, including equity and credit markets
- Experience capable of assessing the magnitude and impact of work at a granular level, down to individual user stories.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
- Expertise in defining test cases with appropriate detail, ensuring acceptance criteria align with real business value—essentially, ensuring we test the right elements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the technical acumen to drive outcomes and influence stakeholders effectively.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-153,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
