Adjunct Professor of Art
The Department of English, Communication, Culture, and Art at Western New England University invites applications to fill an opening for Adjunct Professor of Art in the fall 2025 semester.
The department seeks a candidate who can teach at least one in-person section of a single three-credit studio art course in profile sculpture using clay, ideally on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m.-6:10 p.m. Some flexibility in course day(s) and time(s) may be negotiable. The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Fine Arts degree; experience teaching studio art to undergraduate students; and a demonstrable dedication to student success.
The successful candidate will also need to craft a syllabus that satisfies the learning objectives associated with the university's new creative expression general university requirement, which will come into effect beginning with the 2025-26 academic year.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have, at minimum, a Master's degree in Fine Arts and/or at least five years of experience in teaching sculpture at the post-secondary level. Candidates who will contribute to diversity on campus, in all its forms, are especially welcome to apply.
