Description

Instructors Wanted for courses in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at WNE is seeking instructors for Fall 2025 for the following:

Undergraduate courses:

  • Introduction to Computing (MWF 10-10:50 lectures, TuTh 2-3:20 labs) 4 credits
  • Scripting Languages (MW 8-9:20 lectures) 3 credits

Graduate courses:

  • Programming and Data Structures (MW 12:30-1:50 lectures) 3 credits
  • Algorithms & Computing Theory (MW 3:30-4:50 lectures) 3 credits

These courses all have competitive pay.

All CS and IT course sections meet face-to-face during normal business hours or evenings on weekdays. The Fall 2025 semester starts on August 25 and runs through December 15. In addition to teaching classes, the instructor is expected to hold office hours.

The successful applicant would have an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field. Applicants with advanced degrees outside of these fields will be considered with sufficient technical experience. If you are interested, please apply at employment.wne.edu.
